The suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable. We were happy with it, but if you want a true oceanfront view, don't book this room. Our view mainly consisted of the swimup pool below, the trees and flowers between our building and the infinity pool, and the Wahoo building across from us.
I understand in Sandals-speak 'oceanview' means you may see a sliver of ocean from your balcony or patio, and that was accurate for this room. ROOMS: We stayed on the Royal side and spent the first week in M1B, the Millionaire Butler Oceanview One Bedroom Suite., room #8216 in the Stingray building. It was worth the wait, because it's now one of my top 3 favorites (Antigua and Montego Bay are my other favorites)! We were originally supposed to visit in 2021 for our free week, but Covid had other plans and we had to bump Barbados to 2023. This was Sandals #11 (and 12 if we count each Barbados resort as one) and Sandals trip #14 for us.
We stayed at Sandals Royal Barbados March 18 - April 1.
